Privacy Policy
How Tech Dev Mantra collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Introduction
At Tech Dev Mantra("we", "our", or "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:
- Name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter
- Contact information when you reach out to us
- Comments or feedback you provide
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- IP address
- Pages visited and time spent on pages
- Referring website addresses
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our website
- To send newsletters and updates (with your consent)
- To respond to your inquiries and support requests
- To analyze website usage and improve our content
- To detect and prevent technical issues
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our website. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us:
- Remember your preferences (like theme selection)
- Understand how you use our website
- Improve website functionality
You can control cookie settings through your browser. However, disabling cookies may affect website functionality.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services that collect, monitor, and analyze data to improve our service:
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information anonymously and reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.
Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.
Instagram and Facebook Interactions
We run Tech Dev Mantra's Instagram and Facebook accounts. Some of our posts let you comment a keyword to receive a link to the related article by direct message. If you use that feature, here is exactly what happens with your data.
What we receive
When you comment, Meta sends us a notification that contains:
- the text of your comment, so we can check it against the keyword
- the ID Instagram or Facebook assigns you for our app (a platform-scoped ID, not your login, email, or private profile)
- your public display name or username, as shown on your comment
- the comment's ID and the post it is on
How we use it
We use it for one thing: to send you a single direct message with the link you asked for, and to post a short public reply on your comment so you know it is on the way. We keep a small record — your comment, your public display name, and that the message was sent — so we do not message you twice for the same post and can understand how people respond. Beyond that, we do not collect your email, login, or private profile, and we never sell or share any of it.
Deleting it
You can have this record removed at any time. Remove our app from your Facebook settings and Meta will ask us to delete your data automatically, or email us at privacy@techdevmantra.com and we will remove it. The only thing we hold is the record that a message was sent, and it will be gone.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Unsubscribe from our newsletter
To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@techdevmantra.com.
